If you’re anything like me, cooking more may be one of your 2012 New Year’s goals or resolutions.
Cooking for one (sob) means I often end up in a bit of a routine with basic meals night in, night out. I’m talking fish with vegetables, omelettes, stir fries and salads…healthy? Yes. Interesting? Not so much. So I’m making it my aim to try new recipes as often as I can, especially when I have company.
What could be more different from my basic diet to some gourmet cuisine? The nearest I’ve got to gourmet before is probably the Gourmet Burger Kitchen (don’t judge), but with my recently discovered Fine Food Specialist website, the process of discovering and buying fine foods is a whole lot less daunting and a lot easier, with all the ingredients delivered straight to my door.
Fresh Lemon Sole will make a welcome change from my usual salmon or tuna, while some luxury condiments will transform even my simplest of dinners into haute cuisine. The liquid salted caramel chocolates can be the ultimate indulgent dessert – delicious!
Looks like I’m on my way to ticking off another of my New Year’s Resolutions!
