With her gorgeous lean physique and flat stomach, it’s fair to say Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has a figure many women would kill for, but what exactly does she eat?
Contradicting the stereotype that models don’t eat, Rosie feeds her body with nourishing and clean foods. She is known to work with Bodyism trainer and Clean & Lean diet author James Duigan to combine a healthy diet with challenging exercise plan for her enviable physique.
Rosie says: ‘Everything starts with exercise. Then you want to look after yourself and put good food in your body.
‘I have a really good response when I cut out carbs so that’s something I always do before a great event. I eat a high-protein diet and lots of greens.’
Here’s what you can expect to eat on a typical day of the clean and lean diet.
100g lean organic chicken with ¼ avocado and green beans
Pan fried prawns with mixed vegetables
Small handful of pumpkin and sunflower seeds
Grilled salmon fillet with steamed broccoli and green beans
One coffee or tea a day, at least two litres of filtered or mineral water and herbal teas.
Try to get in at least 30 minutes of exercise a day, including strength training exercises that will help to give you Rosie’s toned physique. A detailed exercise plan is included in the book.
