Foods of Love for Valentine’s Day

They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so if you’re looking to spoil that special someone this Valentine’s Day, give these foods of love a try. Single? Treat yourself! These foods make heart-friendly and healthy treats.

Oysters are considered an aphrodisiac

Oysters have long been considered an aphrodisiac, and they’re the perfect choice for a romantic Valentine’s meal. They’re also a great source of Zinc, key to healthy skin!

An obvious choice, but a good one. Chocolate contains a sedative which relaxes and lowers inhibitions, as well as a stimulant that can increase the desire for physical contact. Choose a rich, dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa for an indulgent yet healthy treat that could get you in the mood for luuurve 😉

Feeling Fruity? Because of their (ahem!) phallic shape, Bananas are thought to be a bit of an aphrodisiac. Studies also show that its enzyme bromelain can enhance male performance. Try combining with chocolate for a dessert that’s both naughty and nice.

A little bit of fizzy will give you a glow, and is the perfect tipple to wash down your romantic meal. Single – get together with friends and enjoy some too, just drink in moderation!

What do you have planned for this Valentine’s Day?
