Celebrity Diets: Mollie King

She’s dated David Gandy, been rumoured to have dated Prince Harry and is the subject of up-and-coming boy band Lawson’s new single, so it’s fair to say that Mollie King is a hit with the guys. With her toned size eight figure and tiny stage costumes as part of The Saturdays it’s easy to see why.

The 24-year-old appears to have lost weight during her time in the girl band, with gruelling dance rehearsals and touring helping to keep her in shape. But, what does she eat?

Mollie tells Closer magazine: “For breakfast I’ll have porridge with honey and a mocha. Lunch will be salmon, salad and rice, and for dinner I love a roast. When I’m busy I’ll snack on nuts or M&S chicken tikka pieces.”

This sounds like a healthy and balanced diet for her busy schedule. Porridge is a great breakfast option as it is packed with slow releasing carbohydrates that will keep you feeling full for longer, while protein rich nuts make ideal snack options while on the move.

If you too are snacking on nuts like Mollie, remember to keep an eye on portion sizes as they can be quite fatty. Almonds are an ideal choice as they’re low in calories but rich in Vitamin E, manganese and magnesium.

While The Saturdays‘ dance routines and rehearsals keep her in shape, Mollie also works out with the trainers at Bodyism. She’s in good company as they’re also responsible for the toned figures of Elle MacPherson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley amongst others.

Overall it seems like Mollie has a healthy approach to her figure, she doesn’t weight herself as she prefers to go on her body feels and she doesn’t deny herself any treats – here she is tucking into her Easter eggs!
