As the recent photos of her soaking up the sun in Miami show, Katy Perry has an amazing figure. She’s slim and toned but keeps her curves, so what is her diet like?
Katy tells People magazine: “Eating healthy is so important because I can’t afford to get sick. When I was on the road, it was very important to eat a balanced meal and to make sure my energy was up for every two-hour show.”
While she was on her epic Teenage Dreams tour the singer says she liked to have a light soup, a piece of grilled chicken and some quinoa with grilled asparagus for dinner. She also takes daily vitamins and loved fresh-pressed juices and coconut water.
Katy admits that she loves snacking but tries to pick healthier options like veggies and hummus, tangerines or Popchips. However she doesn’t deny herself the occasional treat and is a known fan of In ‘N’ Out burger.
As for her fitness philosophy, Katy follows Harley Pasternak’s Five Factor Plan, and is in good company as Rihanna is also an advocate of the plan. She also likes to exercise outdoors, whether it’s going for a hike or cycling. No doubt her dance routines and energetic performances help to keep her in shape too!
