The actress said that after having both of her children she resorted to wearing a girdle to help her to lose weight. “People have been doing it for years, and let’s face it, I don’t have the body of a 14-year-old any more. I think the more we try not to have that unrealistic ideal, the happier we’ll be.”

Jessica Alba’s Diet Secrets:
Aside from ditching processed foods and learning to cook for herself at the age of 12, Jess doesn’t have any special secrets per se. Instead she relies on fresh, organic foods as the foundations of her daily meals and treats herself to meals like Pizza on occasion.
She says: ‘I’ll have dried seaweed or almonds. Rice crackers and Popchips are also good. If I need a sweet fix, I’ll stick to natural sugar.’
Jessica has a firm belief in the importance of organic foods, beauty and cleaning products for health and launched The Honest Company in 2011 to address the shortage of such products on the market.
